Wheat Germ oil - Tritcum vulgare (125ml)

Wheat germ oil is from the golden germ of the wheat. It is extremely high in vitamin A, B1, D, lecithin, protein and has a high content of unsasturated fatty acid compounds and a very high vitamin E content. Wheat germ oil has a very heavy wheat nut scent. A very emollient oil that needs to be blended with other oils to overcome its sticky texture. It does help make the skin feel softer and smoother, reduce rough ness, cracking and irritation. It is a good natural preservative.

This oil is rich in protein and vitamins and is great for general massage on all skin types. It can also relieve itching, dry skin and burns. Not safe for people with nut allergies.

Rosehip oil - Rosa mosaqueta (125ml)

Rose Hip is extracted from ripened fruit of a hybrid, thorny, wild rosebush nature to South American Countries. A healing oil that is said to regenerate teh skin and conteract the effects of aging. Rose Hip oil is a rich source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, is high in gamma linoliec acid (GLA) and vitamin C. Rose hip is often used in prooducts for stretch marks, burns, scars, and mature skin. Rose hip is an emollient and strengthens the hari shaft. (this oil goes rancid quickly).

Neem oil - Azadirachta indica (125ml)

The miraculous Neem Oil! Use widely in India as an antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiseptic, antiparasitic agent. It is used to treat skin disorders, such as eczema, psoriasis, ringworm, scabies, syphilitic sores, chicken pox, etc.. it can be used to get rid of lice and control dandruff. In toothpaste, it helps relieve swollen and bleeding gums and kills the bacteria that cause gingivitis. Mixed with clay, it makes a great facial for those with acne and other skin problems. Add to liquid soap base for an ani bacterial hand soap. Use in bug repellant to keep the bugs away. Use in pet soaps to kill and repel fleas and to treat hot spots. Neem oil can be sprayed on plants to keep insects from devouring the leaves. The only negative aspect of this wonderful oil is the smell. It is quite strong and can overpower a blend.

Jojoba oil - Simmondsia chinensis (125ml)

Jojoba is cold pressed from the nuts of the Jojoba tree. Native Americans have used Jojoba oil for centuries. Jojoba is good to treat sores, cuts, burns, as a conditioner and for all over skin and hair treatments. Jojoba is technically not an oil but a wax (it will solidify if stored in a cold place). It resembles human sebum, the natural coating our body produces to pretect the skin and keeps it supple. Jojoba is skin therapy: our skin loses sebum with age, sun, wind, cold and the environment. Calendula oil - Calendula officinalis (125ml)

Calendula Oil, also known as Marigold oil Calendula officinalis is obtained from the marigold flower and is rich in carotene and vitamin A.
It is especially good for irritated skin. It is antiseptic and soothing so it is an excellent treatment for neglected, dry, chapped or cracked skin, wounds and scars.The properties of this oil are antiseptic, healing, vasodilator, anti-seborrhea, and it promotes healing. Because of these properties it is a good oil to use for application for wounds, bruises and other injuries and in creams for chapped hands.Castor oil is one of the few oils that can be used as an emulsifying agent. Avocado oil - Persea gratissima (125ml)

Avocado oil is made from the pulp of the avocado fruit. It is a rich, heavy but penetrating oil that is nutritive and therapeutic. Avocado oil contains more than 20% essential unsaturated fatty acids. It contains vitamins A, C, D and E, proteins, beta-carotene, lecithin, fatty acides and the 'youth mineral' potassium. Avocado oil is rich in unsaponifiables (sterolins) which are reputed to be beneficial in reducing age spots, healing scars and moisturize the upper layers of the skin.
